Welcome to ShihTzu-Rescue.Org.UK

Shihtzu-Rescue is a 'not for profit' organisation, We are Committed to Finding Homes for any Shih Tzu that needs Re-homing.

We are based near Manchester and endeavour to re-home as many homeless Shih Tzus' as possible. to date we have a 100% success rate in re-homing ShihTzu dogs that have come into our care.

Our policy is to use our very best efforts to find every Shih Tzu who needs one, a caring home where they receive the love and affection they deserve.

No healthy animal is ever Put To Sleep,

If you have a question on any aspect of our service, please ask it!  We will do our very best to answer, quickly and frankly.

We are no longer running a waiting list as this quickly becomes out of date.

All available dogs will in future be advertised on this site.

Due to collecting a large number of dogs from a breeder and the imminent arrival of more puppies. We regret that we are unable to take in any further dogs for the forseeable future

Archie

Archie has now gone to his new home

Archie is an adorable 8 month old Gold and White Puppy

He is healthy, happy and extremely loving and he would like a home where there are no children or other pets. He does not like to be left alone so his ideal new parents would be home with him most of the time.

Available Soon!

Truly

(picture coming soon)

Truly is as her name implies Truly Scrumptious, she is a small Black and White 2 year old that was abandoned by a breeder as she can not 'carry' puppies.

She currently is being fed to increase her weight but is generally healthy, she has never been on a lead or house trained so needs a very dedicated Mum/Dad to look after her.

She would be ideal for a pensioner who could be with her most of the time.

She needs to restart her inoculations and her new parents must agree to have her spayed when she is strong enough. (proof of this will be required)

Sorry, no Children or other pets.

New Charges

It is with deep regret that due to the current Economic Climate we are no longer able to offer a completely free re-homing service.

In future we will pass on the cost of Micro-Chipping and Registration to the new owners along with a small donation to help cover our costs.

This will be a total of £75 for each Adult ShihTzu we re-home.

Puppies (under 12 Months) will be priced according to age!

Special terms apply to puppies.

Thank you for your understanding in this, it will help to cover our costs and ensure that we are able to continue to help ShihTzu dogs in need of a new home.
